Just now getting around to writing this a couple years later. We sold in early 2021 for posterity.

It's a long story but we took a 1x offer on yearly profit from a client of ours just to get out of the business. We were burnt out and having internal disagreements among the cofounders about the direction of the company. In the end, we would have made more at a regular 9-5 but it was a great learning experience and a small 6 figure exit.

We didn't really know "how" to launch on Product Hunt in a strategic manner. We submitted our product around 11am when a lot of other companies already had several hundred points.

We did our best to share with friends and family on different channels, and to our surprise, we ended up hitting the front page and finishing the day at #6!

After Will joined the team in September, we decided to go for a full overhaul on the web app.

We worked on improving the overall user experience as well as overhaul our API and Zapier integration.

We did a soft launch to existing users, then it was time for the public launch...
