June 25, 2020 Launched on Product hunt and hacker news

The launch felt like a very destined one. So, I was thinking of launching Hare on product hunt and since it was my first time launching on product hunt, thought to check out the submission process. Thought of completing the whole process to just get the hang of what all assets will I be requiring (images, content), etc. Next next next and My product is scheduled for submission and you CAN'T remove a scheduled launch, so I had to make all the assets in the 1 day period and I'm glad this happened otherwise I would have procrastinated the launch to next week which was not even needed.

The next day product goes live and I am looking at the live dashboard and in one hour 3 likes, not many. I had made up my mind for not more than 100 upvotes in total. But to my surprise after 1 hour, every refresh was fetching 2 upvotes and to my surprise, it went to 69 in 2 hours.

In total it received around 263 upvotes that day and stands at 266 today.

I was happy with the launch and the feedback the users provided. Upgrading the product on these feedback!

May 25, 2020 Beta Testing

Passed around the product to multiple close people for suggestions around it. Added on developer communities on Slack and Discord. Got some feedback on it and evolved the product on that feedback. Initial feedback on the overall idea was catching and showed promising results.

May 23, 2020 MVP Done!

It took 4 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Hare. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in JavaScript since that's that I'm the most comfortable with. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!

March 23, 2020 Came up with the idea of Hare

It was the quarantine time, lying down on my bed with my laptop on my thighs, looking at the clutter I had made of my browser with many tabs, trying to go to each one of them closing them and on the way trying to figure out the cause which led me to the idea of Hare!
