Subscription Trade Engine Launch on Gumroad

While working as a developer and consultant as part of my digital web agency a few years ago my business partner comes to me and says he is in discussions with a new lead that wants us to create a trade/matching engine for a crypto currency project they want to launch.

The only catch is that it has to be able to execute over 1000000 trades per second and they want it done in either C++ or Java (because they don't think it can be done in anything else).

I took that as a challenge to write one in Go, since I haven't written C++ and Java for over 12 years.

I did manage to write one even thought the client chose to go in another direction, but after that I wrote an article on our blog which lead to a 2 year client to write a full exchange focused around my engine solution.

Today I am releasing the trade engine as a service as subscription on Gumroad.

I'm still working on the homepage for it, but since I am already in discussions with a few people who are interested in using and that blog post still generates a fair amount of leads I think it's the right time for this soft launch.
