November 18, 2020 First Successful Build

I have been working on and off on HatchDash whenever I get time. I have been very busy in my primary job which is embedded systems oriented and it consumed most of my time. Today i have successfully completed the core functionality of the site and now i'm planning to polish it some more and deploy the site with only free accounts and named as HatchDash alpha. I'm still debating this decision whether i have to complete it fully and then launch it as final version or go though alpha , beta and then the final version.

March 3, 2020 Coming Soon page is up and running

I started working on the coming soon page yesterday and added a newsletter subscription field. I also started writing the api for the entire site and for the storing and retrieval of the sensor data i have used influxdb and started testing out on some test data and it went well.

I think this needs a headline. Like "Get all your IoT data in one place" or "Your modular dashboard for sensor data"... something that quickly answers "what is it?/ what are you giving me?" and contains relevant keywords.

Hi J0hannes , thanks for the headlines. Yesterday when i was working on the coming soon page i was trying to think of one but my brain.exe stopped working :) im gonna update the page once i think of a good one but if that doesn't happen i might steal one from your comment.

March 2, 2020 Worked on the UI

I saw a dashboard design which i liked on creative tim's website but it was pretty expensive for me to buy so i saw their live preview and started working on my version of it. I started learning React and i was able to convert my native UI to React and run it successfully. I had a minor issue when i tried to add "max-height:100%" to my chartjs line chart component and it didn't work. I tried adding a class to the component and it didn't work. Finally i used jquery to solve the issue. While writing this milestone i realized that i haven't uploaded anything to the website so my priority for today is to work on a coming soon page. :)

I needed a web based dashboard where my customers can see the data which is collected by their IoT devices.
