The future of design has landed.
After spending hours writing blog posts for 5-6 months and not thinking we were really going to get anywhere with it, we have obtained our first Google Search client 😍
I have never really understood the importance of SEO until now and it's safe to safe I shall be investing a lot more of my time now :)
N.B. We are ranked on the first page of Google 5th down - now the aim is to get to the top! I have just invested in a Marketing Specialist to help with producing content so hopefully that should help even more over the coming months!
We nurtured the relationship by offering a discounted rate for the first two months and they loved our services so much that they decided to go for an annual subscription which is great for us and the business - we must be doing something right! Even better, it was done through manual bank transfer to avoid Stripe fees... 😊🎉
With the ups come the downs! It is to be expected. We have lost our first couple of clients.
Thankfully, this comes down to more internal issues their end and less so about our services as they gave us great feedback :)
The past few weeks we have been focussing so much more on the delivery of our services and making sure the quality of the design is as good as it possibly can be. The downside of this means less time to outreach to potential new clients. Therefore, we have decided to make the investment into hiring a full-time Outreach & Social Media Specialist to work on this for us to steady our stream of new clients whilst I can spend more time on the quality of the design to reduce churn - win-win (hopefully) :)
It’s been a crazy four weeks since starting up Hatchly. We never thought we would have been able to say that we have exceeded our first-month client intake target by just under 300% (with still another week to go!!).
So proud of the hard work that has gone into this so far and we have brought on some truly amazing clients who run amazing businesses, that are (I hope🤞😄) seeing the value in what we bring to them.
Scary times setting up a new business with all that's going on but I’m so glad we did - here’s to hitting our next target 🚀🎉😀

Would you mind sharing how you got the clients? Just pure google organic traffic or did you reach out to businesses yourself?
Had a look at your website, really love the design. Though on mobile at least for me on the pricing page there is some slight side scroll where it creates a white border on the right side, just a heads up if you have not spotted it yourself yet 😛-

That's great work, would be interested to hear how you think you will grow the team to cope with more design requests - how did you find your designers?

I scouted some on Behance and put a job out for them and worked my way through a load and made sure to set a few design tasks before committing :) we have 3 so far and have built a great remote team!

We lost 2 today (sad face) but have around 12 in total!

We have reached our goal a month early! We are also taking on our second designer from tomorrow so everything is going great and well ahead of schedule. We even had our first Pro member today as well! We are also in the process of refining our processes and creating a solid virtual company work culture to make sure employee satisfaction/welfare is high.
Achieved my first productised customer today - here's to many more (hopefully) 🎉🎉 I managed to achieve this through LinkedIn outreach and using a free month of sales navigator to connect with as many potential leads as possible. Next target is to get five :)
After months of sourcing the best designer to collaborate with, finding the best platform to manage design requests, creating and designing the website and generally having everything in place ready to launch... We finally have 😀🚀
We are really exciting to get going with a big sales drive now and outreach as much as possible to get our first customers :)

After seeing a ton of unlimited, on demand graphic design services based in USA, I thought it was about time to introduce one to the UK.
I have worked in design now for a few years and have realised 9 times out of 10 that clients I worked with just wanted more and more designs, faster and faster.
I have seen an upcoming trend with on demand graphic design that I think is only going to become more and more popular over the coming years so I thought it was time to introduce a new version to the UK so UK companies can benefit from the same time zone.
