HDDHunt

Hey IH! I just posted HDD Hunt on Hacker News and wanted to share it with this community too.

I built HDD Hunt because I got tired of manually hunting for the best price-per-TB across Amazon. I run a 200TB+ home NAS and was constantly checking CamelCamelCamel, r/DataHoarder, and deal forums to find good drive prices. So I built a tool that does it automatically — it tracks 10,000+ hard drive and SSD listings on Amazon and sorts them by cost per terabyte.

The HN post is here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47709272

I would love to hear what features would make this more useful for you. Some things I am considering:

• Price history charts

• Price drop alerts

• Filtering by drive type (CMR vs SMR, enterprise vs consumer)

• UK and EU Amazon support

Check it out at https://hddhunt.com and let me know what you think!
