We've been gradually growing a community of builders who share ideas and create projects. Now, we want to bring that community onto the joinhelm.com site. Today, we launched the first iteration of the Connect feature, where users can share ideas and follow each other.
Helm passed a milestone in users - we hit 300 signups in February. That's 300 people who have signed up because they're able to get real value out of the tools we built, which is extremely exciting. It's all up to keeping the growth moving, and making sure we're providing the right value.
After spending weeks building and testing our community-powered project sharing platform, we were able to celebrate the launch of our live product with almost 100 advisors, friends, and entrepreneurs in our community.
Since we work with users and companies, our goal now is to encourage users to check out our platform and share a project.
Over the fall of 2018, we were working on creating an event called LaunchpadOSU in an effort to empower students to discover entrepreneurship and connect meaningfully with their community when we stumbled upon the tech hiring industry. We knew we could make it better by shifting the priority to projects and problem solving ability, and we knew our job was to create a community of problem solvers.
