HELO
Painless Local Email Testing
This new version brings some long-requested quality of life improvements to the app as well as some bug fixes.
We haven't worked on HELO that much in the last months and had other priorities like the Invoker launch.
Since we have expanded our team to three people, we can invest more time into HELO and use this to close all open feature requests as soon as possible. We see a bright future for the app and are going to invest more resources into it now.
HELO sales are low and we are looking for a way to increase them. Today, we are introducing a trial to make testing of the application simpler.
In the last months, HELO slowly acquired about 1,000 users and has a steady growth. The trial aims to get more users and allows developers to test HELo for 7 days before they have to make a buying decision.

It is hard to convince developers to use a paid tool if there are free alternatives. There is no trial for HELO and so the copy on our website has to convince them of their benefits.
We've released a small video course that showcases the features of the application and highlights the benefits to increase demand.

The launch went well and we already have 500 users for HELO.
On the other hand, we see a drop in sales and many people seem to stick to their open source tools – this means that we can't convince them to use a paid tool for email testing and the simplicity of HELO is not enough for them.

Local email testing is a pain, the existing tools are cumbersome to use and ugly to look at. HELO is a beautiful way to test and debug your emails – in a desktop application that looks like a normal email client.
