I had the idea for help jar in a dream, spent 12 hours coding and deployed the first version of it today!.

Help Jar is all about giving back, to the world and those who need it.

Heavily inspired by Stripe Climate (where you pledge a percentage of revenue to combat climate change), Help Jar takes this concept further and allows allocating a portion of revenue to any cause you care strongly about.

We've partnered with organisations looking to:

  • fight climate change
  • abolish human trafficking
  • improve animal welfare
  • fight for basic human rights.

This is just the beginning!

    This is so funny. Dreaming up apps, and dreaming out loud.

    I once had a dream about a website domain, and woke up and it was available, so I bought it. (Still have to put a blog up on it or something...)

      Thanks! Oh yeah? Do you happen to know the name of it? Is it still around?

      Everything is TailwindCSS + TailwindUI. I bought it a few weeks ago and gotta say it's so good. I feel like I'm super charged as a frontend developer.

      Once they have "copy to React" it'll be awesome.

    Looking good! I put up a quick landing page for a similar project 4-5 months ago just before Stripe Climate launched and I planned on launching it + focusing more on social causes when I have more time, but never did (of course). Glad to see someone did it and looking forward to follow your journey!
