I built an X/Twitter automation tool as a solo founder — here's what I learned
Hey IH! I'm the solo founder of HelperX — an X/Twitter automation platform with AI-powered replies, scheduled posts, DMs, and smart unfollows.
I started building it because every tool I tried either got accounts flagged or required babysitting. So I engineered safety into the infrastructure: each account gets its own proxy, encrypted tokens, and server-enforced daily limits.
Tech stack: Node.js, Express, SQLite, CycleTLS, Groq AI, Playwright.

I think building safety into the product is the right approach. For automation tools, people care less about how many actions they can automate and more about whether their account will still be healthy six months later. Reliability becomes the feature.
