two things that immediately came to mind:
1- there's too much space above the header and CTA button, to the point where they are below the fold on my screen. You definitely want to raise the header-subheader-CTA and reduce the space above them. Something like >50% of visitors on average churn before they ever scroll, so you want to make sure that a person that lands on this page can understand fully what it's about without having to scroll.
2- Consider adding human faces to the testimonials (or at least anywhere on the page). There's tons of research on how human faces have an amazing effect on capturing attention and interest of customers. (just look up human faces marketing)

Thanks for the feedback, both are really great points which I'll take a look at for sure. I guess that's the challenge — fitting as much quality content in above the fold without cluttering or bombarding the user.

Hello, Your page is pretty good. I do agree with most the points brought up and think your site is too long. A lot of information spread out. I would also try to use your logo font as headers for your sections. Here is a fast revise that I did quickly in photoshop - view link here, https://imgur.com/JQqdNeQ

Hi, thanks for the feedback and the Photoshop mockup — really appreciate the time you spent on it! I'll definitely look into some of the changes you've suggested.

I agree with @armouti about the CTA. It can definitely be pushed up.

Personally, I feel like there is a lot going on with this landing page, but that's a subjective preference for aesthetics.

I also couldn't signup because clicking on the "Get Started" button wouldn't do anything for me. Maybe because I have my adblocker turned on?

Thanks for the feedback — I’ll definitely be sorting out the CTA. Fair comment about there being a lot going on, I would like to simply our message a bit and really focus on the core features.

That’s weird about the button, sounds like a JavaScript issue. Thanks for letting me know!

This is a very nice concept. I could definitely use it. But i found a major problem, the cuisine suggested to me were not at all my taste pattern. I selected just "Indian" in cuisine section, and none of the top foods suggested to me were Indian.

Thanks for the feedback. Well the way I’ve engineered the matching algorithm is that it only increases a recipe’s relevance by its cuisine rather filtering others out.

However maybe I need to tweak the weight given to cuisine preferences so that in your case, for example, Indian recipes would be more visible.

Thanks for trying out the app!

The loading time was painfully slow for me. I think that the top priority in a landing page is instant loading.

Thanks for the feedback. What sort of connection were you on (wifi/cellular)? I've been trying to increase load speed but obviously not enough, so I'll take another look at that. Thanks again.

The landing page is good! It convinced me to try it at least, so I tried the onboarding. The feature I was interested in was generating my shopping list for online shopping. I hate the boring task of adding ingredients into my basket once we've decided what we're going to cook that week.

I love the personality on the site. The 'pre-heating' loading message made me laugh, I like the random faces scrolling across the screen and the bit where you ask people to rate each food is fun and feels like you're really going to tailor the recipes to me.

I have to admit though, I stopped the registration process when I couldn't paste a password in to the sign-up form. That's probably not an issue for most people though, as most normal people aren't using password mangers.

Thanks for the great feedback on the concept and landing page! Always nice to hear that people like the idea and enjoy the app's onboarding.

That's a shame about the password field on signup though — it's news to me that you can't paste so I'll get that fixed for our next update. Thanks for spotting it!
