Hub for community builders
The idea of creating a hub for community builders came to me when I got interested in the topic of how people monetize their communities.
The last couple years have seen a boom in community development. The coronovirus pandemic gave a strong impetus to this development. Communities grew rapidly in both size and number. Attempts to monetize communities began. And those who were able to adapt quickly were able to make good money out of it.
Gradually, however, the situation began to change. People became bored with endless communication, it was not enough to even participate, let alone pay for it, it did not bring the value for which they wanted to pay. And it's getting harder and harder to keep people.
So I came up with the idea of creating a more complex infostructure that would include not only a community of people to chat with, but also a number of other services that would create real value for people, something that would keep them together.
The first service is a directory of tools that can be used to build communities. On each tool's page we give its features, how it can be useful for community builders and what potential limitations it has.
Let's go!
