I'm excited to share with you HireFire, a product that has been providing dynamic autoscaling solutions for Heroku applications since May 2011.

HireFire is designed to save you money by shutting down idle dynos when they're not needed, and handle load fluctuations by automatically scaling up and down based on the load of your application. It uses a variety of metrics, including job queues, queue times, and load, to make these decisions.

One of the key features of HireFire is its ability to speed up job processing. It does this by spinning up more workers than you usually would to process jobs at a faster rate without increasing your worker fees. Dyno fees are pro-rated to the second, so you only pay for what you use.

HireFire also offers configurable scaling frequency, scheduled scaling, Heroku Logplex integration, support for multiple queues, and flexible app integration with Ruby and Python libraries.

We offer two plans: Standard and Overclock, both of which include all features. The Overclock plan allows you to customize your checkup frequency.
