HireRemotely
Job opening notifications from remote-friendly companies
After 6 months of offering HireRemotely for free, I've decided to make it a paid-only service. With over 600+ subscribers receiving new job notifications on 39 remote-friendly companies, we are sending about 10,000 emails per month. I've thought about selling advertisements in the emails, but that just feels tacky. I needed something to offset the costs of operating the service, so I've decided to make HireRemotely a paid service at a price point of $2 per month (paid annually). We'll see how this goes over the next month or so.
Yesterday was the official launch where I posted links on Hacker News and a few other places on the internet. In the first 24 hours, I’ve gotten over 1.2k unique site visits and 260 signups so far. I’m in the process of making a few improvements to the email notifications and I plan on releasing that update in the next day or so.
We launched HireRemotely to the public at the beginning of February. We've posted it on Hacker News, Reddit, and here on IndieHackers. HireRemotely has been publicly launched for about 3 days and we're currently at 35 subscribers. Currently, we have 19 companies that subscribers can choose to subscribe to. We'll be adding more soon.

About
I wanted email notifications for new job openings from the best remote-friendly companies whether they posted them on popular remote job boards or not.
