We asked friends and family to support us with testing. Eventually, we've had roughly 15 active testers, mainly on Android, which wasn't a bad thing due to the fragmentation. I published 60 releases on the internal Google Play testing track before I promoted the last one to production, and only 8 builds on TestFlight.
The final release took a bit longer than originally expected. We kept iterating over the training plan structure and features, so there were small things requiring change here and there. In the end, the App Store review process also needed some extra loops.
Today, we met at a local notary office to register the company.
Formally, we wouldn't have required a dedicated legal entity. A simple partnership would have done as well. But the incorporation of a limited liability company (in Germany, a GmbH) means a certain investment for share capital, so it also underlines that all partners are serious about the endeavor.

Germany is still very strict - Thousands of entrepreneurs have the same pain. Therefore I set a mission to myself with my new startup to digitize notary offices as much as possible: You can find more here: Online Notar
