HiVaulted
Social media help without the hassle.
Spent way too long last week reimagining the color palette for HiVaulted’s landing page. It’s wild how much a small shift in color can change the entire vibe.
I wanted something that felt clean, modern, and cheerful—but still trustworthy. After a few wrong turns (including something that looked way too much like a sports team logo), I finally landed here.
Curious what you all think—and how you approach color decisions in your own products. Do you go by instinct? Data? User testing? Gut?

We’re building HiVaulted — a social media tool that auto-generates captions from a photo + a few words. Think: you text a photo, get back a caption + post preview, and approve it by text or email.
It works. But I don’t want it to just work — I want it to sound human.
We’ve got a few things in place already:
✍️ Tone options (professional, storytelling, casual, etc.)
💬 Sentence structure variety
🧠 Contextual awareness of business type + goals
But I’m curious what you would want as a user — or what drives you crazy about AI-generated captions.
Would you want…
A more “first person” tone?
Emojis or no emojis?
Subtle humor or strictly on-brand?
The option to tweak your tone once and have it stick?
Looking to crowdsource some ideas. What’s something that would make you say: “Oh wow, this sounds like me”?

Hey Indie Hackers!
As a small business owner, I know how overwhelming social media can be. There’s this constant pressure to post, engage, and keep your brand visible — but it’s a lot of work, and often you’re doing it alone. Existing tools just add to the load or don’t quite “get” your business.
So I built a tool that acts more like a teammate than just a platform. You text in a photo or a few keywords, and it turns into a polished post. You approve it, we schedule it — done. You set up your profile with your branding and preferences, and we keep your presence consistent and on-brand with minimal effort from you.
It’s early days, but I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any ideas on what would make this even more useful for busy founders and creators.
Thanks for reading!
