Hiya
Websites for professionals
It's been a busy couple of days dealing with invites and sending users over the the early website builder whilst frantically finishing off some core features and fixing bugs.
It's great to see a fresh burst of interest which I assume is owing to being featured in the Trending Startups section. Very grateful for the early initial reactions.
I'm being extra cautious of spammers so the onboarding process is intentionally a bit drawn out.
Lots of activity as a result of being featured (https://betalist.com/startups/hiya-io). Big fan of Betalist and the early adopter audience behind it.
Perhaps wasn't the best timing to be rolling out a migration of the site at the same time it got featured but the upside was that I was actively monitoring the site and comms at the time.

I've been furiously working on improving the landing page (hiya.io) to look slicker and tell a coherent story before betalist.com features Hiya.
Today I've created a new logo, adjusted copy over and over, crafted new design flourishes and settled on a more vibrant colour palette (previously, it was minimalist & monochrome). Still not perfect but do we ever reach perfection?

Stoked to have added OpenAI's GPT-3 service to generate professional bios from limited data collected on the sign up process.
This was in response to knowing most people will skip over filling out a bio as it requires thinking.
The results are really good and early feedback is positive.
