homebird
Home admin, sorted
Put some money behind a basic Instagram ad to see if anyone would actually click to find out more about homebird. The website itself and ad were quite vague about what the product actually is (as it doesn't exist, yet).
Generated a click through rate of just over 0.7% (views to clicks to website) and cost of click of around 40p.
Realised that our houses are often our most expensive assets (by a factor of many!) yet the admin around them is often a mess. There's also no de-facto app for our house, yet we have one for so many other aspects of our lives.
It's a pain having to dig out insurance information or digging through documents to know when a warranty runs out - surely there's a better way, to have all this information easily accessibly in one, beautiful app.

I've always loved organising stuff. One example is having my house admin in order - from warranty details for my TV, to the account number of my water supply. I think there's an opportunity to build an app for this.
