Homemade Crunch

Today our website is finally out of dev mode and is fully LIVE! It feels like it took a lot of work and planning just to get to this step and I still have so much more to do.

Starting today we are testing Facebook/Instagram ad audiences with small budgets to get an idea of what audience might be the best to target. After a few days, I'll take a look at the results, choose winners, and raise the budget a bit more to get some more data to work with.

After the test is done I'll start with a low-budget campaign to hopefully reduce risk and slowly increase the budget. At the same time, I need to do a lot of learning on Facebook ads to make sure I'm doing the best that I can.

I also want to thank the IndieHacker community for getting me this far. I think I would have given up if I hadn't been inspired by this community.

Took way longer than I would have liked, but it's finally done. I submitted the site for review here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/looking-for-feedback-on-a-few-parts-of-my-business-60c5a71da5.

Next, I'm waiting for the product packaging to get here and I need to set up a business banking account then I'll be 100% ready to go.

Towards the end of September, I was thinking of creating something, and I finally decided to commit to it and give it a try.

I started out by using Notion to create a list of things that I needed, ideas, and recipes. I was super embarrassed at first because I felt like it was a silly idea. Who says that I'm going to start a granola business? But I made a plan and stuck to it.
