HomeTender
Hyperlocal Home and Household Management Platform
Behind the scenes, we've been working hard on concepts, prototypes, designs, and development. Soon we'll be able to open up the alpha site.
In the meantime, we spent some time that captures the soul of the project in a new marketing website that should hopefully start to capture some interest and some emails.
Feedback wanted.
We are making significant progress. I am starting to get excited.
In the last month, I have worked with our designers to make fantastic web UI screens. We are almost ready to start condensing down to several specific mobile app interfaces (one for everyone, one for kids).
We have specced out the product line in more detail, which now includes: HomeTender (the web/mobile apps), The Dash by HomeTender (dashboard hardware product for mounting on walls in homes), HomeTender Bridge (hardware hub that can integrate with household IoT to report data back), and a couple of other things that we're keeping under wraps for the moment.
I spent some time building out all the API specifications in OpenAPI 3.0 for the Backend Web API, Edge Node API (for HomeTender Bridge devices), and the Edge Ingress API (for the Bridge devices to report back to the mothership).
It will undoubtedly take more time to finish since we're just a couple of people. But at least I'm happy to report we're still moving forward at a great pace.
I have put considerable time and finances into this, so I would love it if you helped me spread the word! :) Thank you <3

Been a bit since I last posted. Sorry!
We are gaining interest very quickly. This excites me so much!
Also, UX/UI designs are starting to really come to light. We are still working through the design in depth, but a lot of the core areas are fully designed. I hope that we've have the next chunk ready soon.
Meanwhile, I am getting to work on implementation and I hope that I can have a private alpha ready soon.

We've gained the email addresses of 23 interested users. It's not a lot, but I am honestly surprised we even got that many who are interested in something that is not even available yet. This gives us some motivation to continue work on the product and improve a lot of households!

We switched off of LaunchRock to LaunchACo and created a more attractive splash page. Right now it serves to collect email addresses of users who are interested in the product.
We're hoping that the new splash page will better communicate what the upcoming product will offer, and will help us gain some interested users.

We are fully committed to building out this product in the near future, but we have to take a hiatus due to some full-time commitments that are making regular updates to the product a challenge.
This product is the result of real problems we want to solve in our household, and once other commitments reduce, we'll be back to work aggressively.

Personally I am not a big fan of the full-width websites, they are a bit hard to read on larger screens, comparted to the ones having centered content.
You have a typo in the hero-section, right under the CTA:
"Submit your email and we’ll you'll be one of the first to know about the launch. We will not share your email with anyone."
Should probably be:
"Submit your email and you'll be one of the first to know about the launch. We will not share your email with anyone."
Good catch :) Thank you!
