HostAd
Hyper-local advertising on indoor screens across Ukraine.
We built HostAd because we got rustrated watching Ukrainian SMBs pour money into Intagram ads that reach people across the entire city when their actual customers are sitting in the cafénext door. Out-of-home advertising in Ukraine is stll stuck in 2005: everything is booked by phone, thee's no transparent pricing, no real-time analytics, nd no way for a single barbershop or restaurant to lunch a campaign without going through an agency. HotAd changes that. We've turned indoor screens at cafs, barbershops, and coworkings into a programmatic a network. An advertiser picks venues on a map, uploas a creative, and goes live — all without calling anone. Every ad ships with a QR code so you can actualy measure what happened. Currently live across 15 vnues in Kyiv, campaigns from $8/month per venue.

HostAd sounds like a total game-changer for local SMBs! It's so smart to skip those bloated Instagram ads and target the actual neighborhood with a simple, programmatic setup. Adding QR codes for real tracking instead of guessing is a brilliant execution move. It really proves that zeroing in on a clear market gap and shipping a practical solution beats over-engineering every time. Huge congrats on getting those first 15 venues live in Kyiv!
HostAd sounds like a total game-changer for local businesses! It's so frustrating when broad digital ads just waste budget, so bringing a transparent, programmatic approach right to the neighborhood level is brilliant. Adding QR code tracking is the perfect way to finally bring real, authentic attribution to physical spaces. Huge congrats on skipping the agency bloat and getting those first 15 venues live in Kyiv!
Small businesses often waste a massive chunk of their budget on broad digital ads that reach people miles away from their physical storefront.
The real gap in local marketing is that high-intent customers are often staring at a screen in a cafe or waiting area but the content they see is usually just a generic looped video with zero relevance to them. Moving from manual phone-based bookings to a programmatic map-based system finally gives local shops the same granular control they have on social media but with the physical proximity that actually drives foot traffic.
What has the response been like from the venue owners since they can now monetize their downtime without the headache of managing the ads themselves?
