housem8
Track, share and split tasks and expenses with housemates.
So today is the launch of my product.
Housem8 was a product that served my need when I lived in shared accommodation. It allowed me to share and track expenses with the guys I lived with. If it solved a problem for me then it can help some other people out.
Would appreciate some feedback from the community.
My web app is now complete and would like some people to try and test it out now before I go ahead with a launch.
My product is free at the minute, I am just sticking it out there and see how it does. If it does well or I receive some interesting feedback I will see whether or not it is worth pursuing as something that can generate some income.
It has taken me 1 month and 9 days from my first looking at my first commit on github. 39 days to complete this little project is not bad and I am very proud of myself for seeing it through.

I finished my landing page. I kept it quite simple because I don't feel the need to oversell what my app does. My app is simple and so is the description of the page.
I may be wrong and will seek some feedback on this. My app is fee so it is not like I need to convert users, if people wanna use it they will. I am new to this so I this approach may not be the best one.

About
Having lived in shared accommodation it was hard to keep track of who bought what. I wanted to build something that keep things fair so nobody is out money. Started with an google sheets document to this.

Very cool idea and I'm sure people are interested in this.
One small remark about the landingpage: the button that says 'JOIN FOR FREE' doesn't have cursor 'pointer' style.
Good luck!
Cheers for the feedback @Debugged
Amazing Idea...
Brilliant job @life_of_a_dev. I can see this being a big help to people especially within the student audience but not limited to it.
Than's for the feeback @TheTechTeacher
