Real-time invisible AI assistant for meetings and interviews

Visit Website
June 8, 2026 I built a real-time invisible AI assistant for interviews and meetings that made $500 in first month with $0 spent on marketing

High stakes calls are a performance game. Everyone knows it. Companies run the same broken interview process, sales calls go through the same back and forth behavioral questions with rehearsed answers and candidates optimize for survival, not authenticity.

The tools that exist today don't actually help you in the moment. Otter, Granola, Fireflies are great for post-call summaries, useless when your interviewer just asked you to design a distributed cache and you have 2 seconds to respond. The only real-time option with any traction is Cluely, but undetectability, the one feature that makes it actually usable in a real interview is locked behind $150/mo. That's $500+ for a single big tech hiring cycle.

It sits invisibly on your screen, listens to your conversations and transcribes in real time. It reads your screen if needed and gives you answers as the conversation unfolds. No bot joins your call. No invite link. No guest in the room. Your interviewer sees nothing. My first paid user called it an "absolute banger" which is honestly all the validation I needed.

It works for interviews, client calls, sales calls or any high stakes conversation where you need to think fast.

Numbers so far:

  • Launched 1 month ago after 6 months of market research, talking to customers and building 24/7

  • 15 paid users across US, UK, Canada, India and more.

  • $500 in revenue

  • $0 spent on marketing

  • Pure word of mouth and one reddit post

Hovrlay is live on macOS with Windows launching very soon. Pricing is pay as you go, no monthly subscription. $2.5/hr effectively. Free trial included, no credit card needed.

Would love any kind of feedback!

About

There is a huge gap in real-time AI for meetings and calls. Tools like Otter and Granola only help after the call. Cluely does real-time but charges $150/mo. Hovrlay fixes all this with $2.5/hr plans.
