How to Create a Highly Effective Personal Brand

After I finished writing the book within four weeks, it took another 14 days to develop a book cover and edit and format the book for Kindle.

In this book I've collected all my experiences from building my own personal brand in order to get into TESLA (which worked! In the end I was one of the 0,5% who got hired in 2017) as well as working as a brand manager at various tech startups.

The goal of the book is to help everyone in tech to build a highly effective personal brand that highlights your personality, strengths and skills and makes you stand out from the competition. A personal brand brings you closer to achieving what you always wanted (like it did for me by landing me a job at Tesla).

But, because personal branding often feels a bit intangible, I broke it down into six simple steps. These steps are tested by myself and my coaching clients. They work - I promise.

I just wrote the last character of the first draft of my personal branding book. I've been working on it for the last 4 weeks, writing for 4 hours every single morning.

I first created an outline and then simply started writing. In order to stay consistent I've actually put 'meeting slots' in my calendar to stick to my routine. I also used Bear for a writing software to be less distracted and more focused. I turned of the big external screen - also to reduce distraction. I left my phone in another room - also to be less distracted.

All those things allowed me to write a 190 page book with a great deal of great information, advice, tips and exercises on how to build a highly effective personal brand.
