This journey started with a simple frustration: as a potential homebuyer I have limited and badly designed ways of understanding property investment. I realised everyone was doing it backwards - starting with house prices instead of their available budget. So I decided to build a small tool over a weekend to use and had fun with it with my wife as we checked out various properties to try and understand if we could afford them.

The first version was a reverse mortgage calculator that started with your monthly budget and instantly showed you what house price range you could afford, complete with real-time amortization schedules and additional payment calculations. But then came the bigger question: "What could my dream home actually look like?" That's when I integrated AI visualization.

Now HowMuchMortgage enables anyone to calculate their perfect mortgage in seconds and instantly visualize their dream home with AI. You can also transform existing rooms with different styles, get investment insights and recommendations and export beautiful reports for your realtor or bank.

The tool has grown from a simple calculator to a complete home visualization and financial planning platform perfect for homebuyers, investors, and real estate agents.
