Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I’m Fiona, founder of Sinobreaker, a project focused on improving solar power protection devices — things like DC circuit breakers, surge protectors, and disconnectors that keep solar and ESS systems safe.

As renewable energy expands globally, I’ve noticed that many installers still rely on low-quality components that can’t handle high DC voltage or extreme temperatures. These failures don’t just cause downtime — they risk fires and damage expensive inverters or batteries.

So we built Sinobreaker to fix that.
Our goal is to create reliable, certified, and affordable DC protection devices for solar farms, EV charging stations, and energy storage systems. Each product is designed with real-world field feedback and tested under IEC and UL standards.

We’ve just launched our first product line covering DC breakers (MCB/MCB), SPDs, and isolators — and are now preparing distribution in the EU and Asia.
