Hugo Calendly Shortcode
Add Calendly to your Hugo pages with a simple shortcode
I'm excited! I published my first paid product!
See also my corresponding blog post here: https://bespokesy.dev/post/my-first-product/
I have completed all additional features I had in mind when compared to the free, oss version.
Including being able to set default Calendly parameters through Hugo's site configuration, page front matter, or data files. And the ability to customize colors and various other pieces only available to users with a Calendly Pro subscriptions.
I created a demo site (using Hugo, obviously) that also works as documentation hub for Hugo Calendly Shortcode (free and Plus) here: https://docs.hcs.bespokesy.dev/overview/
I built a limited version of the end-state I had in mind. Particularly aimed at people who want to embed Calendly on Hugo without many bells & whistles.
See my blog post announcing the release: https://bespokesy.dev/post/published-first-piece/
In order to get here, I had to learn the basics of writing Hugo shortcodes, and map shortcode parameters to various embed style parameters to generate Calendly's html/javascript snippets.

The shortcode is all about making it easier to have a consistent look & feel of Calendly embeds across multiple Hugo pages. And easier to update all embeds in a central place
