HunarBox

Hey everyone, I'm Satish, developer based in India For the last few months, I've been heads-down building HunarBox . It’s a freelance marketplace that connects skilled Indian talent with global businesses.

Why I built this: Honestly, the big freelance platforms take way too much commission and hold onto money for way too long. It's really frustrating for local freelancers. I wanted to build something fairer. We keep the fees low and use secure escrow with fast local payouts (like UPI) so people actually get their money on time.

The Tech Side: I built the platform using WordPress, custom PHP, and WooCommerce. Getting the custom checkout pages and escrow to work perfectly was a bit of a headache, but we finally got it done and our Android app is now live on the Play Store!

What I need help with: Building the tech was the fun part for me. Now, I'm stepping out of my developer comfort zone to figure out marketing and SEO. Getting those first few real clients is definitely the hardest part.
