I'm building in a competitive space: AI-generated SEO content.

My initial assumption was that the market was saturated. After all, there seems to be a new one of these launched every day.

The actual problem was that the product wasn't quite right. I tried to be unique too early. Rather than building a simple content generator, I initially built a research tool that could create in-depth content. But the value prop wasn't obvious.

At the end of June, I was ready to sell the project for scraps. But, for some inexplicable reason, I kept going.

I rebuilt the product, making it easier to use and automated as many tasks as possible.

Then, I partnered with a high-powered blogging influencer and got my first real traction.

I continue to experiment with ways of brining in consistent traffic. But, I now know that the product is what the market expects. Onward to $2k MRR we go.
