I Want To Read More

I posted my landing page and a first basic prototype on Indie Hackers. It is more of a soft launch, but is the first time I show it to somebody else than friends and family.

I also cleaned up the code and the repository and made everything public on GitHub. I'm building this in the open!

I'm convinced that the idea makes sense now. I posted an article about travel planning and wanted to write about organizing the trip on site. However, much more people wanted me to write about traveling with a baby instead.

It seems that this really makes sense, so I should create a real product from it.

I had the idea when I started writing my blog. I wanted to get feedback from my readers which topics they find interesting.

I wanted to try this without investing too much time so I did a hacked a prototype.

I embedded small vote icons in the text that triggered a JavaScript which just accessed an empty page. I used the server side analytics to count how many people clicked on each link.
