Launched and got the first 10 ideas submitted!

I launched my second product last week, called IdeaHunt.

Idea validation is always painful for makers. I wanted to create a tool that eases this whole process. My first idea was to build a "Product Hunt for ideas".
An app where you can submit your idea and people vote for it. The number of votes validates the idea.

But it wasn't enough, this "PH clone" wasn't bringing enough value. So I added 2 features:

  • People can vote for your idea but they also can leave a comment to the creator (privately) and start a conversation about the future product

  • The visitors can also leave their email address and receive news about the development of the idea (the email address is shared with the creator only)

I'm super happy to see that people get value from it and start using it.
A week after my soft launch on Twitter Ideahunt has:

  • 10 ideas submitted
  • 30+ votes
  • 10 people following ideas
  • 5 comments sent directly to the creators

This project is 100% no-code! The app has been built with Bubble, Airtable, and Mailchimp. IdeaHunt is also 100% free, I want to give back to the community!

As usual, IH is the first place where I launched so feel free to roast every aspect of IdeaHunt. I'd appreciate any feedback from you 🙏

Great stuff! And love the fact that it's no code. Will take a look :)

No-code is so much fun! Allows me to ship new products really quick :)
