I'm Shamoil 👋 — tax professional based in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia, at the moment), building IdeaLens solo after work hours.

The problem: Every week, people around me ask "what business should I start?" They have capital, or industry connections, or 20 years of domain expertise — but no clue where to point it. Meanwhile, thousands of opportunities are being created daily by new regulations, demographic shifts, and supply chain gaps. Nobody connects the two.

What I built: IdeaLens reads daily market signals from India and globally, scores 4,900+ business opportunities using AI, and lets you filter by what you already have — capital, network, labour, or domain expertise. Each opportunity comes with a 7-step AI toolkit: validation, MVP blueprint, GTM playbook, financial model, risk map, scale roadmap, and ship checklist.

Stack: Next.js 14, Claude Haiku API, Supabase, Razorpay, Vercel.

Revenue model: Free browse → Starter at ₹1,999/mo for full briefs → Pro at ₹4,999/mo for the AI toolkit → ₹999 per export for a complete business kit (DOCX + XLSX + MD).

Current status: Live at idealens.co, 4,900+ briefs, Razorpay payments active, zero marketing done yet (literally starting today).

Built entirely bootstrapped. No co-founder. No funding. Just Claude AI and late nights.
