Hey everyone 👋

So I run a newsletter about AI and marketing automation, and here's the thing - I actually enjoy writing. That's not the problem.

The problem? Figuring out WHAT to write about was eating up all my mental energy.

I'd spend hours doom-scrolling through subreddits where my audience hangs out - r/EmailMarketing, r/marketing, r/SaaS - just trying to understand what people are actually struggling with. What keeps them up at night? What problems are they desperately trying to solve?

And look, Reddit is a goldmine for this stuff. People are brutally honest about their pain points there. But manually going through hundreds of threads, taking notes, trying to spot patterns... it was exhausting. I'd procrastinate on the research, which meant I'd procrastinate on the writing, which meant I felt guilty about not shipping content.

Classic creator trap, right?

So I did what any semi-frustrated marketer with access to AI would do - I built a tool to automate the whole thing.

That's IdeaMyner. You give it a subreddit, it digs through the conversations, pulls out the pain points, and even suggests content angles based on what people are actually talking about.

Now instead of spending 3-4 hours researching, I spend 10 minutes. And I can actually focus my energy on writing and creating, not hunting for ideas.

If you're a content creator, marketer, or indie hacker trying to stay close to your audience without burning out, maybe this'll help you too.

Would love to hear your thoughts - and if you've found other ways to solve this problem, I'm all ears!

About

I was tired of thinking what my customer wants and used to spend days and weeks on reddit to find insights about my audience, so I created this tool that automates the entire process
