After months of 12-hour workdays, we finally launched on Product Hunt!

The day has (almost) come, and we are beyond both excited and nervous.

We want people to try what we have created from scratch and for the first time in our lives.

As the first time ever we do something like this, we are aware that the platform will have a bug or two. And that's why we would really appreciate it if you could use identid.me and give us your honest feedback.

We still have a long way to go, but we have already set a definite date to launch the first version of identid.me:

We are scared but at the same time very eager to see the feedback we get from consumers to improve the platform.

Road to creating the best online portfolio builder!

This is what we have (in general terms):

📍DASHBOARD: A stable dashboard where you can configure account settings.

📍EDITOR: A stable editor where you can add blocks, change colors, fonts, and images.

📍PORTFOLIOS: Portfolios can be published and load perfectly.

📍EMAIL MARKETING: Email marketing automations created.

📍SOCIAL NETWORKS: A Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram account (although we will use Twitter and LinkedIn for now).

📍UNIVERSITY: University: a blog where we share tips to improve portfolio, personal branding, and productivity.

It turns out that we completely changed our target audience and everything that goes with it. We realized that we weren't targeting the right people, and we had to change everything.

We translated the whole platform into English, all the content, created a better editor, also a dashboard, and a new landing page.

Every little change we have made has brought us closer to where we are today: one week away from launching the product.

After a lot of work (believe me, a lot) we are proud to announce that the platform's editor is FINISHED.

That's the editor from where you can create your own web. We have tried to make it really easy to use, so that you can create a site in minutes.

Now what remains is to let some beta testers try it and give us their feedback.

In the meanwhile we'll keep creating the dashboard to the user's profiles.

That's it, we are already 100 suscribers to the newsletter. I'm reaaally really happy that people can truly see the value we offer every week.

Also is pretty exiting to see how the open rank on each newsletter remains at 37% on average. That's awesome.

Finally organic content is making its work! 🚀

We keep developing the platform and in the meanwhile we have tested which social networks are best for us. 🤔

After posting quite a bit and analyze the results we have come to the conclusion that the best social network for us is LinkedIn.

In fact we are celebrating that we have exceeded 100 followers 🥳

We'll have to try advertisement and see what happens.

After reviewing all of the feedback we got from doing the landing pages for our first beta testers, we have already started to create the platform with which people will be able to edit and create the perfect website for them. 💪

We are beyond exited although there's a lot of work to do.

We hope to have the platform ready by early 2021 but who knows... time flies.

Our team is really small: we have one developer (@newrol), one graphic designer and front-end developer (@designbyaniceto) and one marketer and copywriter (@copybycarmen). 🤯

The newsletter of identid.me is out now! We want to share with all our subscriptors some advices on how to promote personal brands, professionals LinkedIn profiles and portfolios online.

It's going to be greeeat!

We also have started creating content on social media and publishing on our Medium blog. 💃

For now we only publish content in Spanish but in a future we'll do it also in English. 🇬🇧
