From losing a disc golf to building a product

I got the idea behind ifoundthis when I lost my disc while playing disc golf. When I posted a bit of a prototype on reddit, it got a lot more upvotes than I ever expected. I then shared it on my instagram for my friends and family, and immediately got some interests and also a suggestion to turn it into stickers.

I like the idea at a basic level. Not sure about discs as the most appropriate business use. But it's as good of a place to start trying to figure it out as any. Good luck!

Thanks! Yea, I've actually just kinda pivoted away from the discs, and just provide stickers. So it can be attached to anything you want. There were a few issues with discs, no stickers are allowed if you wanted to play in tournaments so rubber stamp was the only option. And after testing it out, it's quite hard to get that rubber stamp to print a QR Code that works 100% of the time. So for now, I'm going to concentrate on the sticker only.

So how's it going? I still like core-concept. Stickers vs. stamp both good and bad depending on situation. Interested to see how it goes

Hey @Herbacidal sorry for the delay. But yea, it's still going, I haven't done any promotions yet for a while but I did get a message from one of the customers that mentioned that their laptop was stolen but then someone found it dumped in a park and called him by scanning the sticker. So it works! :)

Awesome! Still trying work out how that can work better/at more scale or if there's some other use case that may be easier.

Ooo neat! That's interesting, it's like a marketplace for lost items.
