IG Email Scraper

As an independent developer, I’m passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. This led me to create the IG Email Scraper Chrome extension, designed to help users efficiently collect email addresses from Instagram.

Inspiration

While researching, I noticed many businesses struggled to build their email lists from Instagram. Manual collection was time-consuming and prone to errors, so I aimed to automate this process.

Development Process

1. Needs Assessment: I spoke with potential users to understand their needs, focusing on features like quick email extraction and a user-friendly interface.

2. Tech Stack: I chose JavaScript and Chrome Extension API for seamless browser integration.

3. Design: I created a simple, intuitive UI to enhance user experience.

4. Coding & Testing: I wrote extensive code and conducted multiple rounds of testing to ensure stability and functionality.

5. Launch & Feedback: After launching the extension on the Chrome Web Store, I actively sought user feedback for improvements.

Challenges & Learnings

I faced several challenges, including technical hurdles and time management. However, these experiences helped me grow as a developer and improve my project management skills.

Future Plans

I plan to optimize the IG Email Scraper further and explore additional features like data analytics. My goal is to help users maximize their success on Instagram.
