IGPuller
Download public Instagram photos in your browser
I’ve been working on a small browser tool called IGPuller.
The original idea was simple: paste a public post URL, get the available photos back, and download the ones you want.
What looked like a weekend project ended up taking more work than expected. URL handling, carousel posts, media resolution, rate limits, upstream changes, deployment — all the boring parts showed up pretty quickly.
I deliberately kept the product small.
No account. No app. No browser extension. No private-content access. It just focuses on photos from accessible public posts.
It’s live now:
I’m mostly interested in seeing whether people actually find this useful before adding more features.
If you build small web tools too, I’d be curious what you usually optimize first after launch: traffic, reliability, or product scope?
About

The narrow scope is sensible, but the next signal is usage. Have people used IGPuller repeatedly yet, or is demand still untested?
