iLoveCoding

The reason I started iLoveCoding was so there was one place in the world where entrepreneurs can learn one programming language (JavaScript) and build any kind of app with it. For that I needed to cover the training for the fundamentals, and the frameworks so students are enabled to build anything. It took me longer than I expected but I am proud that the curriculum was complete.

Over the years business went up and down peaking at $4500/month and going as low as $700/month. I had enough positive feedback and student success stories to take the leap and go full-time. This time I planned. I lowered my living expense and built up my savings. Once I felt comfortable with my runway, I quit my job and went full-time with iLoveCoding.

With no email list, no following, I launched iLoveCoding to the world by submitting the website to a few "startup list" sites. One of them was erlibird.com "https://erlibird.com/go/ilovecoding". That got me 1-2 paying customers within 24 hours of launch. That was a big win.
