July 6, 2026 I Built a World Cup Fan Cam Photo and Video Generator for Image 2

World Cup fan cam content is everywhere right now.

A lot of people want to make photos and videos that look like they were inside the stadium: wearing team colors, standing in the crowd, celebrating under the lights, or appearing in a matchday edit.

So I built two tools on Image 2: a World Cup Fan Cam Photo Generator and a World Cup Fan Cam Video Generator.

Image 2 is my AI image and video generation site. I’m using my AI image and video site to test a simple idea: for many casual users, scenario-based AI tools are easier to start with than a blank prompt box.

The photo generator

The World Cup fan photo tool helps users create AI photos in a matchday fan cam style.

The output can look like a stadium selfie, a crowd celebration, a jersey photo, a team-color scene, or a social post from a big football night.

The goal is simple: give users a fast way to create a personal World Cup-style image.

How it works:

  1. Open the World Cup photo page

  2. Browse the example cards

  3. Pick a fan cam scene

  4. Generate from the example prompt

  5. Adjust the prompt for country, jersey, mood, stadium, or camera angle

  6. Compare results and try again

The user does not need to start from zero. The card gives them a visual direction and a prompt starting point.

The video generator

The AI World Cup fan video tool takes the same idea and turns it into motion.

Photos are good for profile images and quick posts. Videos are better for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, X, and fan edits.

The video version can create short clips with stadium atmosphere, crowd energy, camera movement, lights, and celebration.

How it works:

  1. Open the World Cup video page

  2. Pick a video-style example

  3. Generate from the example prompt

  4. Change the scene if needed

  5. Try different cards for different matchday moods

  6. Use Face Swap if you want the video to feel more personal

The matchday AI video generator is for users who want something more alive than a still image.

The key design: two buttons on each strong card

The main product decision is this:

Each strong example card has two paths.

One button lets users generate from the example prompt.
The other button lets users use Face Swap.

The prompt path is for users who want control. They can change the country, jersey, stadium, mood, lighting, or camera angle.

The Face Swap path is for users who want speed. They see a scene they like, upload their face, and put themselves into the image or video.

This matters because many users do not want to learn prompt engineering. They do not want to think about camera language, lighting, scene structure, or motion details.

They just want to see themselves inside the World Cup moment.

Why Face Swap matters

Fan cam content is personal.

A generic stadium scene is nice.
A stadium scene with your own face feels much more shareable.

That is why I added Face Swap to the World Cup AI photo generator and the fan cam video creation page.

It lowers the barrier. It also makes the result feel more like “me inside the moment” instead of “an AI image I generated.”

Of course, Face Swap is not perfect every time.

Face angle matters. Lighting matters. Expression matters. The user’s selfie may not match the target face in the scene. Some results will look strange.

But many results are good enough to be fun. And for this use case, fun matters a lot.

What I’m testing next

I’m testing a few things on the Image 2 homepage:

  • More World Cup example cards

  • Better prompt templates

  • Clearer Face Swap guidance

  • More country and team-color styles

  • Better video examples

  • Which button users click first: prompt generation or Face Swap

My current bet is simple:

For casual AI users, the best entry point is often a ready-made moment, not an empty text box.

World Cup Fan Cam is a good test case because the desire is easy to understand. People want to feel like they were there.

I’m still early with this direction, but I’d love feedback from other builders.

If you were using a World Cup fan cam tool, would you try prompt generation first, or Face Swap first?
