Inboxes
When your email address is too precious. Inboxes aren't.
Pivoted back to temporary throwaway email addresses . New site, new backend, automated the domains registration and all major tasks. Learned Sveltekit from scratch, Kubernetes and how to take it to production in high quality. Built a Grafana cluster for observability. Automated the hell out of this.
I have sent links to various FB groups and feedback is nice, already some users requesting to add more ratailers and 10 signed up 7 with thier google account and 3 with throwaway emails.
It's a great start, need to work now on some devops tasks like backing up the DB and cleaning all the snapshop images.
After lots of debugging we are out with the first version of https://inboxes.com, it's taken a lot of hard work, we are covering the top 500 retailers in US and adding more.
There is still lots of work on features like alerts and likes and follow brands but I already got some great reviews from the first people I shared it with. Let's see what you guys think... How do you like the tag line "It's how you search 1000's of daily marketing emails.
Without subscribing to any of them" ???

I operate getnada.com which is a temp email service, it's getting millions of emails each month and I thought it would be interesting to try and analyze the non-private ones and extract for example sale info and discount codes from major retailers in real time. Inboxes collects and analyzes marketing emails from over 500 top brands right now.

Your landing page looks great! Just curious, how do you plan to make money from this (if you do)? I've explored this idea in the past but dropped it[1], I'll follow you as I'm curious what this becomes.
[1]: there's an old thread somewhere on IndieHackers where I asked for feedback for my idea, if you're curious I can find it.
Btw the domain name is amazing!
Thx for the kind words. I plan to monetize by integrating ads and possibly adding pro accounts (API, bring your own domain, keep inboxes, reply etc). I have another older site which needs some refactoring so I wrote this also as a way to modernize that other site (getnada.com)
