Congratulations ! Do you mind elaborating on your Twitter strategy? Thanks!

My Twitter strategy is to be active on the platform daily, doing "build in public", and interacting with other people on the platform (mainly indie hackers).

I have a bit less than 9k followers now, and the link to my product in the bio generates a decent amount of traffic to the landing page.

that is a lot of success! aside from Twitter, what has been your word-of-mouth marketing strategy (growth strategy)?

      Thanks James! 🙌

In March I'm experimenting with sponsorships (newsletters, podcasts).
Being a side hustler (I have a full-time job) means that I can reinvest the MRR generated by my products in growth.

But this is going to take time, at the moment the best results are from Twitter (the product is Twitter related).

I'll invest more time in creating content to improve SEO.

November 17, 2022 How I validated the idea and collected $ 1k in a week

I had this product idea in mind for a while, but I didn't know if people would have been interested in it.

A client for Twitter Direct messages with all the features I always wanted to have.

Mark as read/unread, tags, filters, quick replies.

So I decided to follow an approach completely new to me: the pre-sale.

I created a landing page that describes the features included in the product (not available yet), and I added a clear call to action "Lock your price forever" for $59.

I basically proposed a lifetime deal to the people that would purchase the offer, without even trying the product.

This was the kind of strong validation I was looking for, are people willing to pay for such a product?

In a week I collected 20 sales, worth ~$ 1k! 🥳

And therefore I started building the product.
