Inciteful Newsletter
Notes and key takeaways on curated business podcasts
After two months from my first newsletter issue, a subscriber commented on a Facebook post: "I bought her book coz of your pod summary. Keep up the cracking work."
It's great feeling to help someone and add value to their day. The post was really appreciated and it encourages me to keep going. Looking forward to helping more people as the subscriber base grows!
Building an audience is hard. Most of the signups have been from my friends sharing the landing page in social media. It goes to show how important personal referrals are to get people to signup.
For now, my focus is to make the newsletter as helpful as possible to the 50 that have signed up--constantly refining content. The hope is to make it so good, people are just willing to share it further.
Next, on to 100 subs!

It's a been a struggle, so I've learned to celebrate every little win. Most of the signups have been friends for now. I need to find my main audience who will really find my content useful.
Still, I'm thankful for the first 30 willing to keep my notes in their inbox. It keeps me motivated to make sure the product keeps on getting better.

I've read about newsletters earning income with very little capital required upfront. This inspired to try it out as a side project.
Noticed that I listen to podcasts for business a lot, so I figured it would be helpful to both myself and anyone willing to listen to get short, condensed notes on podcast episodes.
Helpful for me to learn better by forcing myself to take notes. Convenient for subscribers to get a curated set of podcast episodes with notes to decide if it's worth listening for them.
