Launched!

After spending the past month building the site and collecting my first 12 interviews, I finally launched Indie Hackers!

I submitted the site to Hacker News, where it stayed in the top 3 for over 24 hours. The traffic was unreal. I racked up something like 570 mailing list subscribers and 156,000 pageviews from 43,000 unique visitors in under two days! The best part was that over 20 people submitted their businesses to be interviewed.

This really validates my hypothesis that a strong contingent of people will enjoy reading the interviews I'm doing, and that the Hacker News community in particular is a good audience for the site.
