Indiebackers
Where indie developers and backers meet!
Indiebackers.dev have finally launched on https://indiebackers.dev/.
I will put all my upcoming ideas there and hopefully... (but not likely), it will take off and start growing. It's very unlikely because I haven't keept a live dialogue with the community. So this project will probably go into the startup grave like 90% of all projects that ever gets published.
In the event that it doens't, well, I be damned!
Over and out!
I could launch now but there are heaps of bugs in the code. All in all, I am going to fix the bugs and launch when I feel ready. There are many things to add, logging with sentry, devops with local, stage and production environments, security and all that jazz that typically doens't get factored in when doing an MVP.
We'll see how long time this will take

Starting coding on this idea as early as in late august I think. It have been several iterations of coding, reshaping, etc.
I think the most important part is to have the right tools.
My current tech stack is: Sveltekit, TailwindCSS, Auth.js, Drizzle ORM with sqlite DB (D1), and all hosted on Cloudflare.
It's easy, lean and very performant.
My process have been basically going over in several iterations, rethinking, rebuilding, and design is so hard. But I think I have learned a lot!

Why create a website, buy a domain, even start coding when you have a silly idea?
My silly idea this time is to create a website where indiehackers and early adopters meet. Why would early adopters visit this site then you might ask?
Well, it's quite popular to incentivize users with benefits/perks such as lifetime deals or even better, everything for free, for the initial few users.
It's a win/win situation where the early adopters signup for ideas and help shape the idea until MVP gets perks/benefits while the developer get invaluable user input in the early stages.
What do you guys think about this idea? Maybe it's silly.

About
All platforms today focus on launching. Indiebackers focus on finding backers and validating an idea before creating a landing page and putting in a lot of work.
