Vetted link collaborations for indie founders.

July 22, 2026 I built Indie Chains to make link building less spammy for indie founders

Hey Indie Hackers,

I’m building Indie Chains, a curated backlink collaboration platform for indie founders and SaaS teams.

The idea came from a problem I kept running into: good indie products are hard to discover, but most link building advice pushes you toward cold emails, spammy link exchanges, or expensive SEO services.

Indie Chains is my attempt at a cleaner version of that workflow. Founders can submit their site, get reviewed, discover other relevant projects, and send contextual collaboration requests for things like resource pages, reviews, roundups, or editorial mentions.

The goal is not “buy links” or “game Google.” It’s to help real products find each other and build visibility through relevant placements that actually make sense.

I’d love feedback from other indie founders:
Would you use a vetted founder network for link collaborations, or does link building still feel too risky/noisy?

I'm curious what convinced you founders primarily need better matching rather than more confidence that a collaboration is actually worth pursuing.

In your conversations, was the bigger obstacle finding relevant partners, or deciding which opportunities would create genuine value for both sides?

Indie Chains exists to help indie founders get discovered without cold outreach, spammy link swaps, or expensive SEO services. I’m building it so real products can earn visibility through relevant founder collaboration.
