I've always wondered why we give away access to our content and data for free. I also used to wonder WTF blockchain really did and how it could actually help the world until I read a book on it. This book had an excerpt identifying how decentralization had given a young girl in the middle east access to freedom, opportunity, and funds that she previously could've never acquired. We're now wrapping up the first build of our platform that empowers people to take a second look at where they're sharing their data, who they're sharing it with, and strive to allow anyone to monetize off their digital content, brand, and token itself in an exclusive, collectible way.
