Indistractable Launcher
Minimalist Android launcher
Pretty much the same as earlier.
Haven't actually taken any measures to grow.
downloads/month did slow up after reaching 100k downloads.
Lost the momentum for a few months.
Now gaining back that momentum again in terms of consistency, confidence and growth, funny how they are linked together.
After a year of working on the product on and off.
After keeping it free for almost a year.
Doubting again and again if the users will be willing to pay for it.
Make the first sale 6 hours after launching the paid variant.
The icing on the cake being that It happened on my birthday.
App finally making some revenue on birthday and the notification making the first purchase is just absolutely Priceless 😍

App going strong with about 40% average month on month growth.
Started dedicating more time into it.
Added more features, stability and support to the project, with the vision to expand it to more platforms specifically chrome extension.
Release frequency increased.

Had an idea for a minimal launcher on android based on the light phone.
Loved the concept of the light phone.
Question I asked to myself was can it be done on Android?
Wanted to start with something minimal
Worked for 1-2 hours each morning for 2 months before launching this to the play store.
Wanted to launch quickly to validate the idea.

After about 2-6 months, coming back to the launcher,
The app started generating organic downloads from the play store.
The feedback from the users has been amazing,
This gave me more confidence to invest more time into the project.
Started working on improvements

Spent too much time on my phone, wanted to build something to limit my time. Also, Android got too cluttered, Indistractable is cleaning that.
