Inkrement
Grow incrementally through continuous and real-time feedback
So today, we were featured in the slack app directory. I believed its a 2 week cycle so we will remain featured for a fortnight. We haven't had any installs yet. I wonder why... Hopefully we can get to 10-20 installs within the next 2 weeks.
Pretty excited for the team to have our hard work and product being showcased on the front page of Slack app store!!
We launched on product hunt on a busy tuesday. We only got 100 votes and ended up 23rd on the launch day. Didn't get too much traffic but through our launch efforts two people did install the app.
We will see if we can get more customers along the way but the marathon has started :)
Next milestone is to get featured on the slack app store and hopefully earn our first $1.

We have been going back and forth with Slack for the past week and we are officially approved and listed on the Slack App Store! Woo hoo!
Beyond being on the platform and getting (hopefully) some traffic, can't wait for that Do Follow backlink to register and help our SEO cause.
We are really excited and now we make our plan to launch on Product Hunt next week! So excited to officially ship our first product!!

We are doing a soft beta launch and opening up Inkrement for anyone wanting to try it out in a public beta. Inkrement allows you to build strong teams through continuous feedback, right within slack.
You can head over to https://inkrement.io and install the slack app in your workspace. It's at no cost at the moment and we hope to reach out to you for improvements and general feedback.
Inkrement is ideal for companies 10+ as there is more opportunity for requesting feedback from peers via slack. If there are any indiehackers that want to test it out and give us feedback, we would really appreciate it.

Congrats! I'm a little confused about the name. Is it sprout or Inkrement?

Lol.. smh. Okay so originally it was called Sprout, and it had a bunch of milestones in indiehackers. We recently changed the name to Inkrement because we believe it will be better for SEO . I deleted the sprout product on indiehackers and replaced it with Inkrement and created the same milestones. I didn’t think the milestone post would get any attention but it did and we haven’t changed the logo yet!
Soon :)

The cofounders and I have always felt that our moments of growth were always preceded by candid and constructive feedback. We wanted to make this process easier by embedding feedback into our existing workflows right within Slack
Traditional feedback mechanisms such as annual feedback were too slow.

Traditional feedback mechanisms are slow and outdated. People can have a better continuous feedback loop right within their conversations in Slack and grow 1% every week or month through peer to peer feedback.
