InnerHeal
AI Mental Wellness Companion
Hey IH 👋
Behind InnerHeal are people who've sat awake at 2 AM with racing thoughts, felt the burnout, and felt the pressure to keep performing while quietly struggling inside. Therapy didn't always feel accessible. But silence wasn't working either. We needed a space to simply check in - no pressure, no judgment, just honest reflection.
That space didn't exist. So we built it.
What InnerHeal actually does:
AI mood tracking that surfaces emotional patterns over time
Reflective journaling with intelligent, AI-generated prompts
An AI conversational companion for everyday check-ins
Breathing tools, affirmations, and daily mental wellness quizzes
A community space - no forced explanations, just people who understand
What we're honest about: InnerHeal doesn't replace therapy, doesn't diagnose, and doesn't claim to cure anyone. It's built on CBT and mindfulness research as a support layer, not a substitute for professional care.
Built with React Native and LLM integrations (OpenAI + Gemini), live on the App Store now: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/innerheal-ai-mental-wellness/id6740739926
Still early - real revenue is close to $0 with fast churn so far, which has pushed us to focus hard on organic content and search over the last while.
Would love feedback from this community, especially from anyone who's built in the mental health/wellness space - what worked for you on the distribution side?
About
I built InnerHeal to make mental wellness support more accessible day-to-day. It combines an AI conversational companion, mood tracking with AI-generated insights, personalized assessments, and guided mindfulness tools.

Good question, it’s less “which lever” and more “why do people drop off.”
Big pattern: habit change is hard solo. Journaling, mood tracking, affirmations all work, but they’re easy to abandon alone after a week or two. So we’re building toward “healing together,” companionship baked into the core loop instead of a solo self-help app.
Loneliness turned out to be a bigger driver than we expected. A lot of users aren’t just looking for tools, they want the feeling of not doing this alone. If that holds, retention follows naturally, not from funnel tweaks.
Early days, but that’s the direction.
