Find what digital products actually sell
I analyzed 500,000 digital products on Gumroad, Whop and Skool.
Here's the part that should scare every creator:
99% of them make almost nothing.
Not "less than they hoped." Nothing. The money isn't spread out. A tiny sliver of products eats almost all the revenue, and everything else fights for crumbs.
I built InsightRaider because I was tired of watching people (me included) spend 6 months building a product, launch it, and hear crickets. Not because the product was bad. Because the niche was already dead, and nobody told them.
Three things in the data I didn't expect:
Price gap is insane. Templates sell around $12. Premium courses clear $5,000+. Same platform, two completely different games. Most people pick the wrong one.
The boring categories win. Everyone chases the lifestyle stuff. Meanwhile software and dev-focused products quietly pull some of the highest revenue on the platform.
Most niches are graveyards. A handful are where the money actually moves. The rest just look busy.
The takeaway I can't unsee: picking the right niche beats executing perfectly in the wrong one. You can build a beautiful product nobody ever wanted.
So I'm curious about this room: when you launched your last product, did you check real demand first, or did you build and pray? What actually worked?
